Over 570,000 books arrived in Kansas City for distribution the week of Sept. 21st. There are nearly 18,000 boxes of books with a total weight of over 500,000 pounds. Over the next few days, books will be shipped all over the country.

About 300,000 books will be picked up and stay in the Kansas City area.

LINC Caring Communities sites will receive 80,000 books. This is LINC's fourth book distribution in partnership with First Book.
