The city of Independence has an increased number of Hispanic residents which has grown over the last decade.

LINC has produced a booklet to support the Hispanic community with maps illustrating populations growth, bilingual information from the Hispanic Advisory Council, bilingual LINC materials and more.

LINC serves Independence families through the Caring Communities initiative at 31 schools in the Independence and Fort Osage school districts.
