Implementing the Affordable Care Act in Kansas City
The LINC Commission heard a presentation on opportunities and challenges of implementing key provisions of the Affordable Care Act in the Kansas City area at its July meeting.
The Affordable Care Act is the major federal health care reform legislation. Several key features including health insurance marketplaces will become available in October.
The presentation was made by Jessica Hembree from the Health Care Foundation of Greater Kansas City.
